I have always loved both technology and education. I started building websites in high school, where I took every coding and web class I could find. I even did an independent study helping a new computer science teacher run the intro coding class for the younger students.

Those two threads, the building and the teaching, have run through everything I have done since.

I became a teacher. Over several years I taught sixth grade social studies and language arts, then first grade, then fifth grade. I kept building websites the whole time, for my classrooms. My favorite was a sixth grade site I ran for my students.

Teaching taught me how to explain a hard thing in plain words until it clicks. That is a skill I use with clients every day.

I left teaching during the COVID years. Then I went back to school and earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, with a Certificate in Cyber Security and a focus on AI electives.

I wanted the formal training to match the years I had already spent building, so the work I do for clients rests on real fundamentals, not guesswork.

I do everything for the client myself. The design, the code, the hosting, and the support. I get to know my clients. I remember their business, their goals, and their values, and I bring all of that into custom work built just for them, whether that is a website with custom assets, a custom web app, or a custom booking system. I pick the right tools and tech stack for each one and build real, working products that are exactly what they need.

There are no account managers, no handoffs, no overseas team. You work with the same person who builds and maintains your site, who knows you and your business. I am one person, personally invested in your business being successful, not just your website, and I will do everything in my power to help you reach your audience and build long term success.

I want you to actually understand what you are paying for, so you get the most out of your investment. I explain things plainly, no jargon, and I help you learn as we go. Most developers want you dependent on them. I would rather you understand it.

I am a family man rooted in Topeka, Kansas. This is my community, and I care about the people and the businesses in it. When you do well, I take it personally.
